R.I.S.E. Til' INFINITY

This new Friday program is inspired by the 2001 UNESCO declaration recognizing Hip Hop as an International Culture of Peace & Prosperity. The festival is rooted in the core principles of Hip Hop: Peace, Love, Unity, and Safely Having Fun, and uplifts the voices and cultural contributions of Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) artists, vendors, and community members.

Everyone is welcome to celebrate Day 1 of Convergence,  as we amplify BIPOC voices through Hip Hop, creating a space where their stories, art, and creativity are centered.

 

Program Highlights:

• Live performances from emcees, poets, singers, beatboxers, breakdancers, Indigenous & African drummers and dancers, graffiti/visual artists, and DJs.

• A vibrant BIPOC community marketplace with 40+ local vendors and organizations.

• Interactive, family-friendly edutainment zones.
