
PORTAL to CONVERGENCE



As a lead-up to CONVERGENCE Music and Art Festival, Portal to Convergence events will pop up in local venues, offering audiences a sneak peek at the talent and atmosphere that define the main festival in September. Each event will be a one-night-only experience, reinforcing the festival’s mission to support live music, activate community spaces, and showcase Oshawa’s arts scene.

Blending alt-country, folk, and indie rock, Cuff the Duke has been a staple of the Canadian music scene since their debut in Oshawa in 2001. Known for their soulful melodies, intricate instrumentals, and heartfelt storytelling, the band has toured with icons like Hayden, performed with Blue Rodeo’s Greg Keelor, and built a loyal following with critically acclaimed albums, including Life Stories for Minimum Wage and Way Down Here.

Since the release of their debut self-titled EP in the fall of 2023, Feral Minks has been on an unstoppable trajectory. In 2024, they clinched HTZ FM’s prestigious Rock Search title, joining the ranks of Canadian legends like Finger 11, The Trews, and The Glorious Sons. They have performed with City and Colour at the Tall Pines Music and Arts Festival and shared the stage with The Glorious Sons at the Key To Bala.
